Beach day at Koh Phangan

Sun hangover.
Awoke with hurting bodies. Aloe Vera d up and headed to sunrise beach for breakfast to lay in the shade while enjoying the view. Tracy had the most amazing banana pancake. Kristen had her staple glass noodle salad and Chelsey went with a traditional American breakfast.

Ever conscious of the sun we laid out our sarongs under a coconut tree to spend many hours reading, playing in the gulf, and walking. Later we sauntered our way back and stopped at a local travel agency where we met a very competent Thai lady named Dana who arranged our transportation to Railey for us.

Back to our pool where Kristen had a 2 hour nap (still struggling with an upset stomach) while Chelsey and Tracy swam in pool.

Off to sunset beach to have supper and watch the incredible colourful sunset. Too dark to take our beach route back, we walked inland to sunrise beach where we had a drink and laid on lounging matts by the gulf. The beach was lined with decorative changing colour lights and tables set up for candlelit dinners.  Further down the beach a young Thai man was doing an acrobatic fire dance.

Heading homeward we stopped back to confirm and pay for our travel day.

Another wonderful day in the books.
